For too long, powerful special interests have held control over our state, leaving everyday families behind. Enough is enough. It’s time to put working families first, and make sure that Arizona’s future works for you, not just those with wealth and connections.  

 

Childcare costs are exploding, and family budgets are hurting. To bring relief, Arizona Democrats will fight to cut costs on childcare, putting money back in the pockets of hardworking parents and giving our children the bright future they deserve.  

 

It’s long past time to make housing affordable again, restore the promise of the American Dream, and ensure every Arizonan can afford a place to call home. That’s why Democrats will crack down on the corporations that are buying housing stock and jacking up prices and rents.  

 

Health insurance mega-corporations are making money hand over fist, but Arizonans are struggling to keep up with sky-high medical costs. This is wrong. Democrats will fight for policies to expand low-cost healthcare for working families, take on Big Pharma, and make prescription drugs affordable for everyone.  

 

Arizonans are tired of special interests and foreign corporations taking advantage and working to destabilize our environment and gut regulations. Democrats will fight tooth and nail to stop foreign corporations from stealing water while rural and Tribal community wells run dry. We will fiercely defend our public schools and crack down on the ESA voucher scam, working with our Attorney General to stop the fraud and with our Governor to place guardrails to end the misuse of taxpayer dollars. 

 

Your privacy and your civil rights are at risk with the incoming Trump administration. Last session, we repealed the draconian 1864 total abortion ban, and voters overwhelmingly secured abortion rights in November. We will work tirelessly to keep government out of your bedrooms and private lives by passing the Right to Contraception Act and a statewide non-discrimination law. 

Arizonans are rightfully angry about the direction our nation is headed, and they deserve the final say on where our state is headed. Democrats will fight like hell to protect every eligible Arizonans’ right to cast a ballot. Our right to make our voices heard and choose what our future looks like is the cornerstone of our nation’s prosperity.  

 

This is the Arizona Democratic agenda. We’re fighting for our future, fighting for our children, and fighting for every single hard-working family in the state. And we’re not backing down.
